I started the Shoulder Shawl in Syrian Pattern on pg 130+ in called for yarn. I Cast On on the first of Jan and have been slogging through it slowly due to Strep. Still it looks very pretty and the pattern is easily memorized. How is everybody else's knitting doing?
I just got my book in the mail today along wiht some yarn from knitpicks. I ordered it before Christmas but not soon enough to get it for Christmas. Now I have a month to drool over the book before I actually start to knit. I have decided to start the new year off with a month of prayer and fasting. And the fasting includes knitting. I will probably read the book from cover to cover and change my mind on what project to start first more times tahn I can count. That's half the fun, deciding what to do first. Has anyone else started knitting from this book yet?
