I noticed that some people are interested in them. This is one I made while I was somewhat heavier than I am now...heavy enough that it doesn't fit exactly right anymore.
(These images have popups - but the pictures were a bit big for just embedding)
I wear this jacket constantly. I spend almost all my waking time in a basement - this is warmer than a robe. It is made of homespun, millspun and gifts from friends. I think it is all wool, silk and mohair - possibly some alpaca is also in it. I also didn't really measure before I cast on. I recommend measuring
I have made other surprise jackets, but they have all ended up given away - mostly to relatives who pretty much plucked them off my back. Luckily, these were some of my favorite relatives and I just love knitting something that they can love.
Nothing in the jacket was bought for it. It is all sweater scraps, spinning scraps and oddballs.
