Looks like the snow is finished with. Only about 4 inches, but morgen had today off anyway - it was a teacher prep day. Instead the prep day will be tomorrow, and the teachers aren't going to get any professional development day. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if those kids ever get a full 5 days of school in a row.
In honor of the snow, I made Irish oatmeal. It is still in the simmer stage, but I really am having a hard time waiting for it. I don't think I have made oatmeal in years - and I should have probably made it in the microwave. But no, I have an old fashioned pot of oats on the stove, so I will have an oldfashioned curse fest washing the pot.
I am having big problems with the test sweater - among other problems, I think it needs 4 more balls of yarn. And, I think the directions are incorrect. Too early still to call the vendor. I might just spin this morning - I need to do SOMETHING - my arthritis is killing me.
My cards sucked today. mg and I both pulled the 10 of swords this weekend. I am beginning to worry about total disaster.
I should hear about the job sometime around the middle of the week. Of course, they were supposed to interview somebody today, and I bet that will be cancelled. I hope this doesn't put their decision off.
mmmm, Irish oatmeal. With real maple syrup and butter, please.
