July 06, 2008Tour de fleeceOk, I am entered in. I think this is going to be a two stage event for me. This weekend I put the spinning wheel where I will stare at it everytime I sit and knit. I also put a spinning stool in front of it. This is to make me feel guilty if I don't spin at least once a day. I also put the first phase of the tour next to it. The first phase of the tour is some blue silk/merino that I have nearly finished. Unfortunately, it has been nearly finished for a year. I plan to finish the pound bump sometime this week. After that I will start on the second phase, which is not yet decided on yet. I am hoping I can find the wool I want to spin, but I am not sure where the hell it is. In this case I will probably spin up a shawl's worth of kid mohair. Let the games begin. |
