My Blogs

I am married to the beautiful and beloved mg who is not responsible for any of my actions. He is barely responsible for his own actions. We live at the Soup Kitchen with a very healthy, elderly cat (Costrophane) , a middle-aged cat (Patch), and two young adult cats (Kelric and Soz) We are also haunted by the ghost cats Corge and Gorb.
I spent ten years at home knitting, spinning, beading, weaving and whining. I then returned to work for another twelve years. I then took a year off and did political work. I am working for another, very nice, company now, and have been for 1 1/2 years.
I still design, spin and knit sweaters on commission. Send me mail if you are interested. WARNING: These sweaters are not cheap, but they are magical. I am trying to start a sweater design business, so I will only knit one or two sweaters on commission a year.
While I am doing these things, I watch C-span and the news. I also read quite a bit, I have enough books to fill a small town's library. I can read, talk, spin and watch television at the same time...I cannot add any other task to this. I also make really gorgeous jewelry that has got some critical acclaim. I will put some pictures up one of these days.

The Sweater Machine is currently out of commission. I have to decide whether to rewrite it or to port it. The machine it was hosted on finally went out of commission, after a long and honored life.

Things that are important to me

I define myself as a feminist. I enjoy politics and try to keep up with the players and the game. If we ignore what is going on we will lose our freedom. Politics is an honorable profession, we should stop screwing over our politicians.
